Professional CNC Turning Services

FARWARDER CNC turning is a CNC lathe machining process that processes raw materials from blanks into radial and axial holes, slots and grooves. The turning features include facing, threading, knurling, drilling, boring, reaming, and taper turning. It is often used to produce shaft or disc parts.

FARWARDER CNC turning can process more than 50 kinds of materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, magnesium metal materials, as well as polytetrafluoroethylene and PEEK plastics. If you are unable to select the right material during the design process, please contact us and our material engineers will provide you with technical support.

FARWARDER CNC turning parts have a wide range of dimensional range and high accuracy. Whether you require micro parts (e.g., 4mm diameter, 2mm length) or large parts (e.g., 500mm diameter, 1000mm length), and whether your tolerance is a standard ±0.1mm or a precise ±0.005mm, we ensure fully compliant products.

As long as you provide a quotation drawing, we will arrange technicians to quote you within 24 hours to ensure that the product price, product quality and delivery cycle meet your requirements!

CNC Turning Tolerance

CNC Turning Tolerance

The general tolerances of FARWARDER CNC lathe machining are carried out in accordance with ISO2768. The distance tolerances of length, width, height, diameter, position, concentricity and symmetry can be accurate to +-0.1mm, and the higher accuracy can reach +-0.005mm. The surface roughness can reach Ra0.8um. If you are looking for a high-precision CNC turning manufacturer, please contact us.

CNC Turning Parts Size Range

FARWARDER CNC turning process can produce a wide range of parts, from micro parts of a few millimeters to large parts with lengths and diameters of up to thousands of millimeters. We can manufacture them for you. The maximum turning diameter can reach 500mm, the maximum turning length can reach 1000mm, the minimum turning diameter can reach 4mm, the minimum turning length can reach 2mm, the minimum wall thickness can reach 1mm, and the external and internal threads above M1.6 can be accurately turned.

Quality Assurance

Quality Assurance

FARWARDER has passed the ISO9001-2015 quality management system certification and implements it in all stages, including raw materials, production processes, and inspections. For large precision lathe parts such as watertight boxes and cylinders, we can provide you with quality certification documents such as CMM three-coordinate reports and first-piece inspection reports.

What parts can CNC turning make?

CNC turning is mainly used to process cylindrical parts, disc parts, cone parts, ball parts, threaded parts, such as rolling bearings, transmission wheels, gear shafts, flanges, pins, bushings, sleeves, hubs, etc.

Can you produce plastic turned parts?

We can produce plastic turned parts, including polytetrafluoroethylene, PEEK, polyphenylene sulfide, PA1010 nylon, PVC, ABS, etc.

What is the difference between CNC turning and CNC milling?
  • Different number of axes: CNC turning usually has two axes, X and Z, while CNC milling has at least three axes, X, Y, and Z
  • Different processing range: CNC turning is usually used to process rotating parts such as cylinders and disks, while CNC milling has a wider processing range and can be used to process parts of various complex shapes such as planes, curved surfaces, and inclined surfaces;
  • Production efficiency: CNC turning is more efficient for processing rotating parts compared to CNC milling. Although CNC milling can process various complex parts, its processing speed is relatively slow due to its multi-axis linkage characteristics;
  • Programming difficulty: CNC turning requires controlling only two axes, making programming relatively easy to learn and implement. In contrast, CNC milling requires consideration of multi-axis linkage and tool path optimization, demanding higher technical skills and experience from the programmer.
